Abdulrahman Al-Sumait University Repository Policy
This policy guides submission, verification, publication, access, copyright, and preservation of the university scholarly outputs.
1. Who Can Submit
Only authorized university employees and approved researchers can submit publications using their institutional account.
2. Accepted Outputs
Journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, books, theses, technical reports, datasets, and verified scholarly outputs.
3. Copyright
Authors must confirm that uploaded files do not violate publisher copyright. Metadata can be public even when PDF access is restricted.
4. Approval Workflow
Employee submission is reviewed by Department, Library/Repository Officer, and Research Directorate before publishing.
5. Access Levels
Publications may be Open Access, Metadata Only, Restricted, or Embargoed depending on rights and university policy.
6. Research CV
Employees may maintain a public research CV page with biography, ORCID, research interests, qualifications, teaching areas, and publication list.
